MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Eligibility
Chapter membership is held by an organization, not an individual and can be held in ONLY one category. The organization must be in operation for a minimum of two years. Due to the diversification of tourism products the categories listed on the reverse of this form will be allowed to become Chapter Member upon the payment of stipulated fee. 

Fees
Membership fees are for the fiscal year from July 16 to July 15.  Failure to clear the Chapter dues within one year will terminate the Chapters membership automatically.

Notice
  • Contact information provided in this form will be listed on PATA Nepal Chapter website: www.patanepal.org
  • Membership of PATA Headquarter is not obligatory. 
  • Chapter member will be eligible to participate in Chapter related activities: but will not be able to participate in PATA Headquarters Events in concessionary prices.
  • Any member who ceases to become PATA HQ Member cannot become Nepal Chapter Member.
  • Chapter only Membership is a NON-VOTING MEMBER category.
  • Chapter only members must compulsorily become PATA Headquarter member to use the PATA Logo.
 
     
 

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY

INDUSTRY MEMBERS
This category refers a ‘single unit’ tourism focused organizations, operating across all facets of the travel and tourism industry.  It includes individual hotels, tour operators, travel agents, destination management companies, tourism consultancy firms, travel trade associations.

Entrance Fee:                            NRs. 4,000
Annual Membership Fee:           NRs. 10,000

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
This category refers a single unit organization, which are not necessarily directed with the travel and tourism but however associated with the travel and tourism industry.  It includes Tourist Attraction Institution and Media

Entrance Fee:                            NRs.   4,000
Annual Membership Fee:           NRs. 15,000

Media

Entrance Fee:                            NRs.   4,000
Annual Membership Fee:           NRs.   10,000

EDUCATION
This category is designed for universities, colleges and other education institutes with dedicated tourism or hospitality programmes. 

Entrance Fee:                            NRs. 4,000
Annual Membership Fee:           NRs. 10,000

CARRIER
Apart from National Carrier i.e. Royal Nepal Airlines, this category shall be further subdivided in two categories: Other National Airline and Online International Airlines.

  1. Registration certificate from Tourism Industry Division HMG. and VAT/PAN Registration Certificates.
  2. Bank Statement (recent fiscal year)
  3. Two recent photograph of the Executives representing in PATA Nepal Chapter.

Membership shall become effective when the application is approved by PATA Nepal Chapter Executive Committee and fees have been paid in full.
